This is the fourth lecture in the 'Beyond the Dark Clouds' lecture series - "Faith and the future: How can the Church Respond in Hope to the Challenges Presented by Artificial Intelligence?".
This lecture will be given by Joseph Nelson, Alumnus of Leeds Trinity University and ordained Minister of the Lutheran Church.
Joseph continues to work part time at Leeds Trinity University as part of the library team. He is well-known to the Leeds Trinity community as a person who supports the faith mission of the University as well as engaging in the intellectual study of faith across multiple contexts.
About the lecture series
In our second lecture series entitled ‘Beyond the Dark Clouds: Prophetic Voices from Around the World,’ we will be continuing our theme of education for hope. This year we will be focussing on how to humanise the world through the study of ethics, philosophy, technology and artificial intelligence as well as enquiring about the nature of values and mission in the contemporary higher education environment.
