Laura Irvine, Partner at Davidson Chalmers Stewart LLP, will provide an update on marketing, fundraising and data protection law. The activity around the GDPR and getting ready for implementation proved a significant challenge for cultural organisations and sometimes the approach taken was based on incorrect advice or pressure as some organisations dealt with databases issues. As the dust settles and as a new law, the ePrivacy Regulation is pending, this training day will be an opportunity to reflect on marketing and fundraising activities in a post-GDPR world. With ample opportunities to discuss the approach your organisation took and is now taking and to find out what the legal position is and is likely to be going forward. Book now for this new post- GDPR training event.

"Laura Irvine is the best speaker I have ever heard on this subject - and I have heard a few! I would prioritise her sessions!"
Kirsten Howie, Scottish Opera

"If you want understandable, invaluable information and a great speaker then book now!"
Thomas Kinney-Nicol, Horsecross Arts

"Laura is very good - down to earth and explains things in a clear simple manner. Also very generous with personal, specific advice, which is appreciated."
Beyond the GDPR Attendee

"It's a must, simplifies GDPR, reassures and gives confidence."
Sarah Leary, Scottish Dance Theatre

"Really accessible session, easy to understand - enjoyed the myth busting. Put me at ease and made me feel less concerned about the topic."
Rachael Prothero, Horsecross Arts
