This event is for mixed heritage families only.
This event will be held at Now Studios, The group will be facilitated by Caprice Fox. Caprice has been a primary school educator in Bristol for the past six years and for the past two years has worked for Black Mothers Matter UK, as a group facilitator and content creator as well as leading on education. She works passionately to support under-represented groups who do not see themselves in the classroom as well as supporting educators to have diverse and inclusive learning environments and ensuring they are being actively anti-racist in their practice.
How to talk to your child about race and racism
- What is racism?
- How children understand race at different ages
- Teaching kids to respond to racism with confidence/antiracism
- Encouraging pride in their heritage and skin colour
