Who is the instructor?

Dr. Andrzej Romaniuk is a published researcher, combining archaeology and evolutionary biology with data analysis in R, and an experienced academic teacher, with a track record in teaching entry-level workshops on working with data for a variety of audiences.

Who can attend the workshop?

This workshop is intended primarily for UK audience, specifically students, researchers and employees within the social sciences. During the registration you will be asked to provide a valid affiliation and affiliation-associated email.

Are there any skill or software requirements?

Accepted Answer

No prior knowledge of OpenRefine is necessary; however, the installation of this software is recommended to take the most out of the workshop: https://openrefine.org/download .

Will there be any support for software installation?

Accepted Answer

The SSI team will help with possible installation issues on your personal or workplace device. There will be open drop-in sessions hosted each week leading to the workshop.

Will I receive any evidence for attending the workshop?

Accepted Answer

Yes, certificates of attending will be issued to those attending this workshop. Please input valid first name and surname during the registration, to simplify the task of issuing the certificate and ensuring you will obtain it within the next week after the workshop.
