Event Details

Back for its fifth year by popular demand and made possible with the support of the Tudor Trust, ROTA and the Musuem of London.

Black Fundraisers UK brings to you an evening of information sharing and a chance to network with Funders and Experts from the third sector at a unique and prestigious venue.

Funders Den

Join us and ROTA as we welcome representatives from BBC Children in Need, Comic Relief, Esmee Fairbairn, Heritage Lottery Fund, Arts Council England, Tudor Trust and more for an informative and enjoyable evening.

This is a unique opportunity to network with Funders and Fundraisers as well as to pitch or be part of an audience observing pitches to our Panel of 'Dragons'.

At least five groups will be selected to present their elevator pitch after which the winners will either receive a free half day consultancy and a bespoke capacity building plan or automatic admission into the BF-UK Year 2 AVOCADO programme, if they qualify.

To apply to pitch, please register for the event first, after which you should email info@blackfundraisers.org for an application form.

Digital Fundraising MasterClass

All attendees will be eligible to attend a Masterclass on 10 ways to make the most of digital fundraising (when you have no budget, no time, and limited expertise) with Social Media Guru Howard Lake.

About Howard Lake

Howard Lake is a digital fundraising entrepreneur. He has published UK Fundraising (fundraising.co.uk) since 1994, helping fundraisers make the most of digital tools. He has worked in fundraising since 1988 for Oxfam GB, Afghanaid and Amnesty International UK. He wrote the world's first book on digital fundraising (1996), and has trained thousands of fundraisers in digital fundraising since then. A Fellow of the Institute of Fundraising, he is Chair of the judges for the National Fundraising Awards, and still spends a little too much time on Twitter.

AGM

Our AGM will be held on the same day. It is free to attend for IOF members and information for that will be sent out in October for those who would like to join the BF-UK committee.
