Our night features: rock, punk alternative band Third Kulture, 3 versatile musicians, guitarists and singer song writers KingFast, Mina, Rafaela - With a panel on the night of industry professionals + DJ Lawal!

MINA - is a confessional singer songwriter originally from Paris, France based in Liverpool, UK. Blending raw existential lyrics with sentimental melodies, Mina’s heartfelt songs give an intimate look at the never ending trials of life and love.

Her influences range from Alternative Pop, Folk, Soft Rock with a touch of Soul.

It is her enchanting voice and relatable lyrics that make it seem the words were written just for you.


KINGFAST - Born in Kingston, Jamaica and raised in Belfast, KingFast's musical journey reflects a vibrant blend of his diverse roots. Now based in Liverpool, he’s a compelling solo artist whose talents have seen him grace a variety of stages. From Liverpool Sound City and LIMF to Deva Fest, Nantwich Jazz Festival, Elderflower Fields Festival, and Aintree Ladies Day, he even performed on a yacht during the Cannes Film Festival. KingFast has left an indelible mark on audiences worldwide. His music has been included in a national Jukebox which plays in stores such as H&M, PureGym, Costa Coffee and Jaguar. KingFast has had radio play on numerous stations including Radio City and BBC Merseyside with Dave Monks and with Jermaine Foster.KingFast’s performances are renowned for their energy and geniality. According to Getintothis, he is “a solo singer and guitarist who packs in considerable energy and geniality to his shows.” This charisma is matched by his stunning musical prowess, with Bido Lito praising his “stunning looped guitar acrobatics and soulful pop numbers,” and Dave Monks of BBC Introducing Merseyside declaring, “Wow, what a voice... very soulful.”

Third Kulture are a hybrid rock-rap band formed in Manchester. Lowal member of the band lived and worked as a musician in Liverpool is passionate to return to the city with new collective sound and band. The dynamic trio are loud and unapologetically themselves, embodying the essence of diversity, innovation, and cultural fusion. Third Kulture’s unique sound draws from all corners of their diverse cultural influence, blending mesmerising R&B vocals, electrifying guitar riffs, and the cutting-edge influences of grime and modern rap with flavours of UK rave music, dancehall and trip-hop. TK have already played some noteworthy stages including BBC Introducing, and festivals such as SFTOC, Supernormal, Green Island, and an upcoming Boomtown 2025 show. They have supported the likes of Swedish grunge-rap duo Deki Alem, Bristol’s punk-raver Grove, and London based deathcore band Harbinger. 2024 saw the release of their debut EP ‘Crossroads’, and the band touring England, with dates in London, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Bradford and Birmingham.

Rafaela

Queer, mixed-race, and bursting with sound, Rafaela fuses reggae, soul, and jazz with roots in Portugal, Angola, and a Liverpool spirit. After her January 2025 debut, she’s already shown her range, also dropping a fiery pop rock track this year.
