How can I best utilise a limited budget to effectively produce my film?

Come and join our experts Tom Wightman (Film Hub South East) and Christine Morrow (Northern Ireland Screen) at this roundtable for advice about flm production.

Tom is the BFI NETWORK Executive for the South East of England based at the Independent Cinema Office. He is responsible for identifying and developing filmmaking talent in the South East and supporting them to develop and produce projects through the BFI NETWORK Short film and Early Treatment Development funding programmes. Thomas previously managed STOP PLAY RECORD, a London wide commissioning programme for emerging filmmakers. STOP PLAY RECORD ran from 2015 to 2018 and during this time Thomas commissioned, developed and exec produced 72 short films made by filmmakers aged 16-24 for the Channel 4 Random Acts series.

Christine works across all BFI NETWORK and Northern Ireland Screen short film activity in fiction, factual and animation areas. She designs and manages workshops and seminars for new and emerging talent in animation, factual and fiction sectors. She holds an MA in Film and Production Management from Ulster University. Before joining Northern Ireland Screen Christine worked as Development assistant with BBC Northern Ireland Drama.
