A Queer Black Scotland × Exhale.Group collaboration

For Black History Month, join us for an evening of joy, culture, and connection at the Afro-Caribbean Hall Party, a sober celebration for queer people of colour to share and celebrate Afro-Caribbean cultures.

What to expect:

🍲 A potluck (bring a dish from your culture if you can, we will also provide some food)

🎨 A chill out space with games & craft materials

💃🏾 A vibe emulating the living room and hall parties we had as a kid but for queers!

Come through, bring a dish, bring your joy, and let's celebrate together 💛❤️💚

Important Information

Food will be served from 6pm so come down early! Performances will kick off at 6:30pm.

Travel support available – just keep your receipt and bring it along.

Listen Gallery is a dry space. No alcohol is permitted on site. This policy honours diverse cultural practices, supports individuals in recovery, and prioritises collective safety and care.

Lighting & Seating

We do not use strip or overhead lighting. The space is softly lit throughout. Most seating is stools/on the floor, softened with cushions and carpets. We also have a sofa lounge area.

Health & Safety

Please do not attend events if you feel unwell. If you have flu-like symptoms, we encourage you to test and wear a face covering.
