Bi Annual School of Law 2 day PhD Seminar (MDX)
Mon, 8 May 2017, 09:00 – Tue, 9 May 2017, 17:00 BST
School of Law MDX PhD students only.
10-5 on 8-9 May 2017.
The format will be similar to previous seminars’: a mix of student presentations and staff presentations. I encourage all of you to send me a short abstract of the presentation you would like to do at the seminar (a title and 2 or 3 paragraphs) by Monday 24 April (firstname.lastname@example.org). It can be on your thesis, or one aspect of the thesis, or on a shorter piece you are currently working on. Feel free to ask your supervisors for advice if needed.
In case we receive too many abstracts to be fit in 2 days, priority will be given to those who have never presented. You will each have a 30-minute slot. Presentations should be 10/15 minutes long, and the rest for Q&A. By experience, the more concise the presentation, the better.
I look forward to seeing you all there, and in the meantime to receiving your abstracts. As usual, please ask me if you have any questions.
