The course is for qualified Best Interests Assessors (BIA) and Mental Health Assessors that assess people under the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

  • Identifying objection

  • Deciding on the maximum duration of the authorisation

  • Conditions and recommendations

  • Discussion with and selection of RPR
