Event description
BIASED will help you identify our biases and to use tools to mitigate them to be a professional and effective leader.

About this Event

Bias is a natural inclination of our minds and neuroscience shows that up to 99% of our thoughts can be unconscious. While this serves us well in routine situations, bias can also lead to false assumptions about ourselves and others that can have a negative impact on our relationships and personal performance.

We created BIASED because we know that in an increasingly ambiguous, complex and disconnected world we need more than ever to identify our biases and to use tools to mitigate them to be a professional and effective leader.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

We have designed a highly interactive and practical virtual workshop where you will:

1. LEARN how to identify your own biases and those in your organisation

2. PRACTICE using techniques and strategies to mitigate unconscious bias

3. ENGAGE with others and learn from their experience and perspectives

DETAILS

This classroom experience works with a small trainer-participant ratio of 1:6 to create real connections and deep exchange.

FACILITATION

Your facilitator and creator of the workshop is Stephen Jenner. Stephen has a diverse, 25-year career in training, consulting and business management. He has lived and worked in 9 countries in Europe, Middle East and Asia. Stephen is now based in Frankfurt, Germany and for the last two years has been delivering training and consultancy on diversity and inclusion for global organisations in engineering, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, government and financial sectors.
