Bid Writing - Tailored Tendering. Two day training sessions
This is a two day course and commitment is sought for sessions 1 and 2
Recent years have seen a range of health, care and well-being contracts advertised in Portsmouth, with nearby authorities also offering similar opportunities. Many have been appropriate for smaller companies or voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) organisations. However, to date, local VCSE / SME tender wins remain rare and research among local Commissioners shows gaps in the sector’s capability. Partnering is often a viable solution and one that local Commissioners are keen to encourage.
To address the above, Portsmouth Integrated Commissioning Service and Action Portsmouth are partnering bid specialists Foster Brandt in a Tailored Tendering Skills (TTS) programme, over 3 stages.
The Portsmouth TTS applies a simple, proven, model, taking a bid scorer perspective, now used in tendering teams throughout the UK. Foster Brandt have trained 4,700+ bidders over 18 years, many in health & care, including some of the sector’s most successful larger bid teams.
Lead trainer Bill Foster attracts large audiences at national bidding events with research-based analysis of trends in bid technique and scoring. The TTS will include such insights, alongside simple, memorable, bidding concepts and practical tools to apply and embed learning. The guide programme is as follows:
Session 1: Tues 28 March, 2017
