Many thanks for registering for a place on Bidding for AHP 16-21 in IMS. Please note that refreshments will not be provided for attendees at this training session, you may wish to bring a bottled drink with you. We have maximised the number of places in this training, please be aware that space is very limited in the room and whilst we will try to keep the temperature at a comfortable level projectors and laptops can give off a lot of heat. You may therefore want to dress in loose and lightweight clothing.

Description

This course is for users who are either new or inexperienced in submitting Offer Lines on IMS. Upgrade training is available for users who have previously submitted AHP 15-18 Offers and Offer lines (and were confident doing so) and will focus on the changes between the IMS screens for AHP 15-18 and SOAHP 16-21. Upgrade training takes the form of a video that can be accessed on line, the video lasts aound 25 minutes. The link to the video is here.

Please note sessions for new or inexperienced users will be repeated a number of times in the Cambridge office starting from Tuesday 21 June. Additional sessions will only be released as advertised sessions become near maximum capacity. The sessions currently available are:


  • 6 July, 14:00 - 16:00 - fully booked
  • 7 July, 9:30 - 11:30 - 1 place remaining
  • 7 July, 13:00 - 15:00 - 3 places remaining

Please note - initially registrations are restricted to a maximum of two people per developing organisation.


Delivery:

  • Hands on session in a training version of IMS
  • HCA will provide computers for use during the session


Pre-course requirements:

  • Read the SOAHP 16-21 prospectus (this session is purely about inputting in IMS not about the programme itself), further details can be found here
  • An intention to submit a bid (Offer) for the SOAHP 16-21 programme, either as part of a consortium or as a single organisation
  • Limited or no experience of submitting AHP 15-18 Offer lines and/or general lack of confidence about submitting Offer lines.


Course Objectives:

By the end of the session participants will:

  • Understand the stages involved in setting up an SOAHP 16-21 bid (Offer) from a provider perspective
  • Understand how to access the Offers system in IMS
  • Know how to set up a SOAHP 16-21 Partnership and an SOAHP 16-21 bid (Offer) in IMS
  • Understand the difference (and resulting different data requirements) between Firm and Indicative Offer Lines
  • Be able to set up both Firm and Indicative SOAHP 16-21 Offer Lines in IMS
  • Understand the steps involved in submitting SOAHP 16-21 Offers
  • Know what happens after an Offer is submitted
