During this event, our Chamber President supported by other members of the executive team, will discuss any issues you have, how you are feeling, help you need or just have a general chat.

About Jane

Jane Maynard is both a qualified Chartered Accountant and Business Mentor and has over 25 years experience advising businesses of all sizes from start up through to sale or retirement. Jane has extensive knowledge of all business sectors and is renowned for her practical and proactive business advice, valued by her clients for whom she also provides useful and relevant tax planning advice.

Starting the company, Maynard Johns, in 2003 with only one other employee, she has guided it through its rapid growth and success. Jane is able to offer first hand and experienced advice for businesses wishing to achieve growth, added profitability or preparing their business for sale.

An experienced lecturer and workshop host, Jane has delivered training across the South West on business management, growth and taxation.

Jane has taken an active role in many local business groups, having been the Chairman of the Torridge branch of the Federation of Small Businesses and is currently President of Bideford Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Outside of her work as an accountant, Jane is a prize winning photographer and some of her work can be found hanging in our offices.
