BIG Assist Learning/Change for Good - Strengthening Local Infrastructure, Sheffield

This event is one of a series of events around the country for local and specialist infrastructure.

The morning session will draw on learning from the BIG Assist programme and will give local and specialist infrastructure organisations the opportunity to learn direct from other infrastructure organisations working to change and actively develop new ways of working. The session will help develop a good understanding of what has worked as well as the challenges they face.

This will be followed by a networking lunch.

The afternoon session is delivered in partnership by NAVCA and NCVO.

The Change for Good Commission was established by NAVCA to look at how local infrastructure can maintain support for voluntary and community action as demand grows and resources shrink.

The overall message from the commission is that infrastructure organisations need to fundamentally look at how we operate in order to ensure our offer is relevant and unique.

The workshop will give infrastructure in the Yorkshire and Humber region the opportunity to shape your future and create some space for you to step back from the coal face, work with each other and look at the practical applications of the recommendations and what they really mean for you.
