Event description

Description

This is the annual learning programme for all Big Brothers Big Sisters volunteers. There are three types of sessions offered:

  • Peer support - more open ended discussion where you can bring any challenges, achievements and questions, and learn from other volunteers' experiences.
  • Formal training - providing different topics that may be of interest and can help you develop new skills or further your interest in the area of caring for vulnerable children.
  • Volunteering & Fun Activities - if you prefer learning in a more active way, you can take part in different volunteering opportunities or come to the annual BBBS Activity Day.

Click the green 'Register' button to sign up to the sessions that would interest you.

All events are taking place at Oxford Hub in Turl Street, except for the Activity Day (Rose Hill) and the summer volunteering opportunities, which take place all around the county. We will be getting together at 6pm for a session start at 6:15pm, which hopefully gives everyone the chance to get back there from work, but we can revisit it if the timings prove tricky.
