About this event

  • Event lasts 23 days 11 hours

Help Kingston University undertake a Big Butterfly Count for Butterfly Conservation's national annual survey.

Please note that for this site you will be surveying along the tree lines - Clay Hill Halls.

Just 30 mins of your time, at any point from Friday the 15th of July until Monday the 8th of August - 15 minutes to do the count, and 15 mins to photograph the results and email them to us for collation so that I can submit the results for the University as a whole :)

The surveys are self-led - but you can get as many people involved as you like, use it as an excuse to get a group together outside enjoying the weather as you count butterflies :) Great for all you Green Impact teams!

Book to receive your survey pack and instructions.

This event counts towards the Kingston Award.
