Help Kingston University undertake a Big Butterfly Count for Butterfly Conservation's national annual survey.
Please note that there are 9 survey locations at Kingston Hill, please let us know which of the following site(s) you can survey out of the following:
1. Kingston Hill –Combehurst Pond
2. Kingston Hill Combehurst Meadow
3. Kingston Hill Business School Meadow
4. Kingston Hill - Nightingale meadow
5. Kingston Hill - Terrace Garden (upper terrace new landscaped area)
6 Kingston Hill - Mid-Level Garden (mid-level terrace new landscaped area)
7. Kingston Hill - Community Garden
8. Kingston Hill - Yorkon Meadow
9. Kingston Hill - Bus Stop Beds inc meadow by FL
Just 30 mins of your time, at any point from Friday the 18th of July until Monday the 10th of August - 15 minutes to do the count, and 15 mins to photograph the results and email them to us for collation so that I can submit the results for the University as a whole :)
The surveys are self-led - but you can get as many people involved as you like, use it as an excuse to get a group together outside enjoying the weather as you count butterflies :)
