Join the Sherbourne Valley Project as part of Coventry Charterhouse's summer of activities for an hour of mini-beast exploring! We will use butterfly identification sheets or the Big Butterfly app to complete a 15 minute survey to spot as many butterfly species as we can, and sweep netting to spot and identify different invertebrates on the site!
You don't need to have any experience to take part and you don't need to worry about knowing how to identify many species, Ari and Sophia will be on hand to help but you can download the iNaturalist app to help with your ID skills. Downloading the Big Butterfly Count app in advance is recommended to reduce your data usage but we will have some butterfly spotter sheets available to use if you would prefer not to use the app.
We will meet outside Charterhouse to the left of the entrance at 11am.
