Big Changes, Big Choices - Meeting the Cost of Childcare - An Update Semina...
Thu 8 June 2017, 09:30 – 11:30 BST
A short seminar to update all stakeholders about the far reaching changes to financial support for childcare which may have a direct impact on working parents. Chaired by John Campbell, BBC NI Economics and Business Editor, we are pleased to confirm representatives from the HMRC Tax-Free Childcare - Stakeholder Engagement Team in London will be present to provide information and answer questions from the audience.
Registration, tea/coffee and refreshments will be available from 9.30am to 10.00am with an opportunity for networking pre and post event.
This FREE event is a follow up to our highly praised February seminar at which 300+ delegates registered. Places are limited to 2 per organisation so early booking is recommended. A waiting list will be created.
An updated version of the 'Big Changes, Big Choices Guide' can be found here.
Feedback from delegates at the February seminar:
I found the Tax Free Seminar very informative, not just from an HR/company perspective, but also as a parent using childcare vouchers myself. It was good to find out what the new Government plans were with regards to Tax Free Childcare, and how this would affect the voucher schemes.
Working examples were provided by the informed speakers to show how the Tax Free and Voucher schemes differ, and I found the question and answer session especially helpful in providing a better understanding of how parents can decide what their best options are. With this information, I was able to feed back to all parents within our company. We also took advantage of the offer of a company visit from an Employers for Childcare advisor, giving our employees the option of discussing their individual circumstances with an expert.
Overall, I would fully recommend this session to anyone with an interest in childcare.
