BIG Conference Series - Welcome and Introduction

The BIG CIC Conference is all about introducing Business Integrated Governance to people, and quickly linking attendees to examples of where integrated governance has been leveraged before, and where the BIG BOK has been used too. It will provide a practical session on helping protagonists to build a vision, cased and stakeholder base - enabling development of a business case to do something!

The Welcome and Introduction session is about explaining where BIG has come from, what is the CIC and what is BIG:

Welcome and why are we here – Introduced by David Dunning – Original Founder of the BIG CIC

BIG Introduction – why, what, how. This session will provide the rationale for Business Integrated Governance, explain the core concepts, outline the underlying principles, introduce the components needed to operate integrated governance, and a roadmap for how to go about it.

Attending this session will enable attendees to engage the BIG Body of Knowledge more easily, and be confident in the credibility and origin of BIG (Big clue - this is not rocket science, we are just compiling common sense)
