The Big Draw has one aim: to get everyone drawing!
Why? Drawing helps us to think, invent and communicate – regardless of age and ability.
This award winning training programme will inspire you to change the way you think about drawing.
Held throughout October, The Big Draw festival aims to bring communities together in fun, creative ways. More than 1,500 venues take part annually, from nursery schools to national museums. Last year 20 countries joined the UK in organising events.
This fabulous day will offer lots of ideas and inspiration to engage people with drawing and visual literacy. You will learn skills to pass onto your group/learners/colleagues.
The training day will cover drawing for engagement and practical workshops with resources to take away. It will also include how to set up and register your event with The Big Draw flagship programme, how to find support available online, how to link with The Big Draw 2017 in Libraries and how to enter for a Drawing Inspiration Award.
