Big money: do we lack the motivation or the capital to solve society’s problems?
with Dominic Llewellyn, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Numbers for Good
The words social finance and social investment illicit excitement from many of us who see the powerful potential of bringing together the best of business with the social sector, but it is not without its critics.
Join us for a conversation with Dominic Llewellyn, Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Numbers for Good, as we explore the evolving relationship between finance and social impact and challenge ourselves to imagine what more could be done in this booming but contentious sector.
Numbers for Good bridges the world of finance to organisations dedicated to improving people’s lives and helping the planet. It creates financial solutions that allow organisations to fund social and environmental projects and connect investors with opportunities for sustainable financial and social returns. Numbers for Good has secured commitments and investments of £9m to help the charities and social enterprises to enhance and accelerate their social mission.
Dominic founded Numbers for Good with Bertrand Beghin in 2012 after a mutual friend realised they shared the same vision to use finance as a tool that empowers social enterprises, charities and other organisations striving to improve the world. A testament to the power of connecting with like-minded peers and being open to serendipity! We hope you’ll join us in the same spirit.
