GUEST SPEAKER - Danny Simpson - CEO Mid Communications
We are delighted to announce our main guest speaker for the evening Danny Simpson CEO of Mid Communications one of the largest O2 franchises in the North West. Danny started off his journey in business from a very young age having hit many obstacles and setbacks throughout his career, he still never gave up but continued to work on himself and his skills. After discovering his talent within the sales and telecommunications sector Danny was head hunted by large firms such as Three Mobile and other firms as he led sales teams to become some of the top performers in the country. Danny is now 35 is CEO of Mid Communications which he took from 5 stores with 15 staff to 16 stores and over 170 employees with a multimillion pound turnover. Danny now sits on the board of Cash for kids and many other organisations and is an ambassador of NPCC.
Danny will be engaging with the audience and sharing with some key lessons from his journey followed by a Q&A and explaining how the 3 P's (Passion, Pride & Persistence) can help you go BIG with your business.
Eric Bishyika – CEO of SW Co & Chairman of Business Incubator Group
Eric Bishyika is a young entrepreneur who at 13 years old while he was at school set up a clothing business (SW Clothing) using the money saved up from a paper around. Through hard work and determination, he went on to win a number of awards for his entrepreneurship and has featured in the BBC News, Channel 4, Manchester Evening News & other articles. Eric is now 20 and has been running his business for 6 years, is a public speaker, has worked with various charities helping them to raise money and is a great believer in supporting young people. Eric is also in the process of writing his own book about how I started a business at 13yrs old sharing tips and advice to other young entrepreneurs.
