Event description

Description

Join us as we camp out in nature's home and sleep beneath the stars, experiencing RSPB Farnham Heath as never before! Suitable for families wanting a night beneath the stars. We are taking bookings for Saturday 27th July 2019.

Children taking part in BWSO can earn points towards an RSPB Wild Challenge. The RSPB Wild Challenge is free to enter and suitable for children who want to engage with nature and earn a bronze, silver or gold badge or certificate.

Bring along your tent, go out on a guided night walk, enjoy food cooked over our BBQs and wake up in a meadow on this Heathland Reserve. As the sun goes down, we'll have a twilight wander to look for and listen to the creatures that go bump in the night. We'll set the moth trap to unveil in the morning, then it's hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows over our camp fire before falling asleep under the stars.
