For this meetup, we present you 1 of our old-time contributors. Back in 2015, Thoralf Gutierrez already spoke on our 32nd meetup (https://www.meetup.com/bigdatabe/events/224253209/). He showed us a distributed telco simulator built with Spark + Akka + Kafka at RealImpact Analytics, aka Riakt. Currently he lives in Silicon Valley (#jealous) where he works on data at Tesla!

We complement the evening with a presentation on predictive maintenance at Lineas and the 3rd use case will be about object detection while driving.

The location will be at Digityser, easily accessible from the Brussels North Station.
