Description

The BIID Profesional Pathway Mentoring evening provides Associate members, Provisional Associate members and guests considering joining the BIID, an overview of the BIID Professional Pathway and Registration Assessment.

BIID Associate and Provisional Associate members can also receive 20 minutes one-to-one mentoring with a practising interior designer to talk through the competencies recorded in their Development Diaries and to discuss their progress.

Live Registration Assessment presentation by Henry Prideaux, BIID RegID, Henry Prideaux Interior Design. Henry Prideaux will present a real life project in person on the evening that meets the full Registration Assessment criteria. This will help candidates to gain a better understanding of what is expected at the Registration Assessment and the opportunity to ask Henry questions about preparing for his assessment and the assessment the process.

Programme for the evening:

18.00pm - Introduction to the Professional Pathway by Helen Keighley, Head of Professional Standards
18.30pm - Live presentation by Henry Prideaux, BIID RegID
19.15pm - Q&A
20.00pm - End

Face-to-face Mentoring

BIID Associate and Provisional Associate members wishing to receive mentoring on the evening must submit their Development Diaries 2 weeks in advance to joy.curniffe@BIID.org.uk

Telephone Mentoring
BIID Associate and Provisional Associate members who are not able to attend in person may request telephone mentoring. Development Diaries must be submitted 2 weeks in advance with your request to joy.curniffe@BIID.org.uk.
