In the words of Slade "IT'S CHRISTMAS!"
So we thought what a good excuse for a festive themed ride. We invite you to bring your kids, grandkids or friends along for this festive family 4 mile (approximate) ride to Dobbies Garden Centre . To help us all to get into the festive spirit we thought it might be nice to give our bikes a bit of Christmas bling.
When you are decorating your bike please make sure everything is securely fastened and nothing can get caught in the spokes, brakes etc… we will obviously check your bikes before you go. Plus we will have a few spare bits if you are struggling to find decorations.
This route is mostly on shared paths however there is a couple of short sections on quiet roads. This ride is suitable for all bike types. We will be stopping at Dobbies Garden Centre for refreshments and a look around the Christmas shop. So make sure you bring some money with you. Although remember you have to carry anything you buy back on your bike!
Please ensure that you book one ticket per rider even those with little wheels.
Unfortunately we do not have bikes or helmets are available for you to borrow for this activity.
The ride starts at 10:00, please try and arrive a few minutes early if possible.
The weather can be unpredictable at this time of the year - please make sure you check the weather and dress appropriately, gloves and a waterproof are recommended.
I don't have my own bike, can I borrow one?
Unfortunately at the moment we do not have a fleet of bikes at The Life House, Washington available for you to borrow. We hope this will change soon.
What if I am not fit enough for the ride?

What should I bring with me?
Before the ride/activity please check the weather and dress appropriately. The weather is changeable so we always recommend a waterproof jacket and gloves. Depending on the length of the ride you may want to bring water and a snack with you. We often stop for refreshments so you might want to bring a bit of money with you if you want to buy something.
