Description

Dress up in claret and blue and join us for our biggest and best Bike from Boleyn yet!

This free bike ride will take place on Sunday 29th April to celebrate the special link between Boleyn and West Ham United FC and we're incredibly pleased to say that we'll be joined by children and parents from Central Park School and the amazingly brilliant Bobby Seagull, who just so happens to be a West Ham fan!

Cycling from the Bobby Moore statue to the London Stadium in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, you'll be part of a family-friendly, mass ride on a mainly off-road route along the historic Greenway. It will be supported by trained marshals, with huge thanks to Newham Cyclists.

This ride is ideal for those travelling to the West Ham v Manchester City match, as well as those who just want to enjoy a bike ride with friends and neighbours. It's open to anyone who can ride a bike, or are little enough to enjoy the ride from a child seat on a bike! Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Cyclists will need to be at the statue by 10:15am for the pre-ride briefing.

Need a bike?

No problem. You can hire one for free for the ride (one way only - you will need to make your own arrangements back from the Olympic Park). Just let us know when you sign up. You will need to arrive for the event at 9:45am.

NOTE: In the interests of safety of the whole group, Bike from Boleyn reserves the right to exclude anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol from the ride. By registering you are agreeing to act responsibly in this regard.
