Join artist Ellie Harrison for a cycle around town – taking in her four Early Warning Signs sited at various venues across the city

About this event

Join artist Ellie Harrison for a leisurely cycle around town – starting near Kelvinbridge and taking in her four Early Warning Signs sited at various venues across the city especially for Glasgow Open House Arts Festival 2021 – including Woodlands Community Garden in the West End, Impact Arts in the East End and The Bowling Green and The Hidden Gardens in the Southside.

Along the way there’ll be time to hear more about the origins of the Early Warning Signs project – developed in 2011 under the artist’s mantra “reduce, reuse, recycle your art” and now celebrating its 10th anniversary – and to discuss the challenges of developing a sustainable arts practice, as well as some practical first steps.

If you don't have your own bike, please arrange to hire one in advance from Next Bike. Details of the exact meeting point will be emailed to you in advance once you have registered via Eventbrite.

Please also let us know of any accessibility requirements when booking, including enquiring about the accessible bicycles available from Free Wheel North.
