Bikeability Level 2 - Bishops Stortford (October half term)

About this Event
Level 2 takes place on local streets, giving trainees a real cycling experience. Trainees learn how to deal with traffic on short journeys such as cycling to school or the local shops. Trainees are trained in small groups – up to 6 trainees per instructor.
On the level 2 course you'll learn about:
- recognising potential dangers ahead
- signalling your intentions to other road users
- riding on a road with traffic
- the basics of the highway code
- decision making and how to ride safely.
This course is ideal for individuals aged 10 years of age and over.
The Level 2 course is run over 4 days (Tuesday - Friday) for 2 hours per day (1-3pm). The first day takes place on the tennis courts at Castle Gardens in Bishops Stortford with the remainder of days onto the roads. Please ensure you arrive to the tennis courts on time and ready to start the lesson.

At the moment group sizes are set to a maximum of 6.
We are also asking parents/guardians to review the below link prior to attending the course to ensure helmets are fitted correctly as we won’t be able to help children alter their helmets.
