What does a GMFRS Biker Down! session cover?
Sign up to our free 3-hour Biker Down! session with the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Motorcycle Risk Reduction Team.
During this time, you’ll meet other riders to learn key skills that you’ll need, if you witness or are involved in a road collision as a motorcyclist.
Our session will help you:
- Know what to do at a collision involving a biker
- How to be visible when riding a motorcycle
- Learn first aid
We’ll go through the session content in a relaxed environment, so you are aware of what to do if you come across a ‘Biker Down!’. Sessions have a minimum age limit of 16 years old for attendance.
Can’t join us after booking?
Each unfilled space has a financial impact for GMFRS and prevents others to attend and learn. If you cancel your ticket at any point before the session date, please email us as soon as possible, so we can offer your place to another person: OBSCentralAdmin@manchesterfire.gov.uk
Data
