Description

Biker Down! is a free nationwide scheme that was devised to provide the tools to help bikers if they're involved in a crash.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service BIKER DOWN training course at Dewsbury Fire Station

on 21/04/18 and 04/08/18, course starts at 10 am

on 16/05/18 course starts at 6 30 pm.

The topics covered are:

  • Scene Management.
  • Casualty Care.
  • The Science of Being Seen.

This is a free 3- 3.5 hour course. All that we ask from you is to enjoy yourself and have an open mind.

Please aim to arrive a little before this start time to enable delegates to settle in and have a brew. The community room is a self-contained room on the ground floor with no access to any other parts of the fire station. There is no public access to the station for any members of the group. Toilet facilities are available.

You can arrive by car or bike and ample parking is available in the visitor area.
