Join Marianne and Kimberley for some coworking at the coast on Wednesday 17th December 2025.

The first of these brand new coastal sessions will be held at The Lounge at The Exchange 1856 in North Shields.

No daunting networking here - just a relaxed meetup with other freelancers, lone and home workers. As it's December why not pop on a festive jumper!

Billy No Mates is a collective of lone workers who gather at local independent venues across the North. Set up in 2023 by designer Sarah from KINSHIP, after craving company as a home worker.

About The Lounge at The Exchange 1856:

The Lounge is a new café bar at The Exchange 1856, serving coffee, smoothies, pastries and delicious breakfasts. The Exchange 1856 are located on the corner of Howard Street and Saville Street, right in the heart of North Shields Cultural Quarter.
