  • What to know more about BIM, Digital Engineering, Internet of Things (IoT)?

If you are keen to align BIM with GIS, Geospatial, Survey, Geomatics etc we offer this course to YOU.

This course has been written by a career geospatial professional now working with BIM principals (according to BS/PAS 1192, ISO 19650 series).

Testimonial:

"GeoEnable provides very impressive BIM training. The tutor was extremely knowledgeable and shows real expertise and experience in BIM field, and he is willing to help at all times even after the course. Very pleased with the service and will fully recommend."

(Dec 2015 course attendee)

Testimonial:

"In November 2016 I attended the ‘BIM for Geospatial Professionals’ course run by GeoEnable.

The course was lively and engaging and I came away with exactly what I had hoped for: a clear understanding of what BIM is and how GIS fits into the BIM project framework and workflow, an insight into the challenges experienced within a BIM project, resources to further my knowledge and also some ideas of how I can develop my technical skills to be better prepared for future work.

It was a theory based course and would give other technically minded people the context they might not necessarily have but would definitely benefit from."

(Nov 2016 course attendee)

  • Who is this for? This course is for existing Geospatial and Geomatics Professionals, such as CAD modellers, GIS, mapping, geotechnical, remote sensing & survey professionals, who wants to learn more about BIM and Digital Engineering.

  • Your experience level with wider BIM concepts: Novice (little experience) to Advanced beginner

  • Course Style: Classroom Seminar (tutor taught with interactive sessions) and Post-course online Consultation. This course is not a hands-on technical training session.

  • BIM and Asset Infromation - In this course BIM is used in the widest sense - for information modelling/management, process improvement and organisational change management, it's NOT just about 3D/4D models. It's about understanding how Digital Construction / VDC and Digital Engineering fits with existing Geospatial disciplines and techniques. As well as understanding the need for the whole-life cycle management (physical) assets requires the whole-life cycle management of asset information.

  • Exclusive Session: Places are limited to ensure best learning outcomes with a small group.

  • Lunch included: This course includes lunch and tea & coffee throughout the day.

  • Tutor: The Tutor is a very experienced geospatial information management and digital transformation specialist with almost 20 years' experience of strategic definition, Project Management & hands-on solutions implementation, particularly within the Built Environment and Natural Environment sectors.

His background is in mapping, Geospatial solutions and GIS, but now consults on Information Management (IM) in the widest context. Most often Steven works with Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Owner Operator (AECOO) clients - such as property developers, Rail and Utilities companies.
