With the advent of the National BIM Council’s Roadmap to Digital Transition, this free event is designed to show how the BIM theory we hear and talk about is giving a real competitive advantage to companies in Ireland today.

This BIM in Practice half-day conference looks specifically at how BIM and design issues are affecting architects. We've put together industry experts, architects and technology leaders to explain what implementing BIM has done to help drive their businesses forward.

Opening the event is Dr Alan Hore, Chairman of CitA, the Construction IT Alliance. Alan will look at the way forward, and some of the work already done, to get the industry ready for ‘Digital Transition’.

We will also hear from Irish practices, Lafferty Architects and Cummins & Voortman. They will present some of their recent case studies and share their experience with a focus on delivering projects.

The event will cover a mixture of BIM related topics from the practicalities of collaboration to the more artistic and design-led aspects of modelling.
