SHIMA is BIMA’s programme tackling violence, harassment, and abuse towards women and girls and working to build a more respectful, accountable, and inclusive society for everyone.
Through advocacy, awareness, and action, SHIMA brings together people across creative tech and beyond to challenge harmful behaviours, support those affected, and create safer physical and digital spaces.
This is not a fight for women alone - it’s a collective responsibility. People of all genders and backgrounds are encouraged to take part. We need your voice, your allyship, and your action.
Be part of the movement. Together, we can drive real and lasting change.
Sexual harassment can happen anywhere, at the office, at work events, or even in casual team settings. But knowing the signs, understanding how to respond, and feeling confident to step in can make a real difference.
Join Aliya from Journey HR, Cynthia from Consent Collective, and another expert for an interactive session where we’ll:
- Learn how to recognise signs of harassment
- Explore the right language to use when addressing it
- Discuss how bystander training can help create safer, more inclusive workplaces
Who is this for:
Men, women and everyone else at all levels
Come along, learn practical strategies, and help make your workplace a safer, more supportive space for everyone.
This is a space for everyone, we encourage participation from all genders in this conversation.
