Event description

Description

The latest in our series delivered by the BIMA Digital Project Management (DPM) community will explore the Art of DPM. As usual, the roundtable session will be opened by insights and observations – this time from Tamsin Broughton, Project Director; and Paul Diamond, Client Partner, AmazeRealise, and followed by open discussion under Chatham House rules.

It is readily understood that all DPMs need to be disciplined, thorough and organised; the best also excel in, and fully appreciate the importance of, soft skills and great communication. During this event Tamsin and Paul will explore:

- the relationship between Project Management and Client Services, and how the different approaches to each can be driven by the agency, the client and/or the project

- how agile methodology is changing up the DPM role and forcing a more direct relationship with clients

- techniques and strategies for managing both internal and external clients

- how and when to say “no” to the client

- the DPM - client relationship, how to gain permission and the trust to act and make decisions

- having true ownership of your projects

Who should attend?

This event is for BIMA members and aimed to senior Digital Project Managers and Senior Client Services / Account Managers (interested in the DPM space). If you are not a BIMA member and would like to attend please contact rachelarthur@bima.co.uk.
