Overview
Event Description
Join us for a special lecture by Professor Riikka Räisänen (University of Helsinki), an internationally recognised expert in natural dye research, as part of the Colour4CRAFTS project.
Professor Räisänen’s work has shaped global discourse on biocolourants and sustainable colour-making. In this talk, she will explore the scientific, cultural, and artistic dimensions of natural dyes in a modern context, highlighting their relevance to sustainability, craft heritage, and interdisciplinary research.
