About this event

Science & Tech • Science

Discover the fascinating world of amphibians in this BioBlitz walk and talk led by Alice Pawlik, Teaching Fellow at the University of Salford.

Alice will introduce you to amphibian ecology and behaviour in an engaging talk before leading a short walk to the Community Garden, where you’ll explore the wildlife pond and learn more about how these habitats support biodiversity on campus.

This event is open to all, whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a student interested in ecology, or simply curious about the wildlife around us.

Things to know

  • The walk will follow mostly flat paths with some uneven ground around the garden.
  • Please wear suitable footwear and dress for the weather.
  • The walk is outdoors, so we recommend bringing a waterproof layer just in case.
  • If you have any accessibility requirements, please email sustainability@salford.ac.uk in advance so we can support your participation.

Join us to connect with nature, gain new knowledge, and contribute to our ongoing exploration of campus biodiversity.
