Biochemical Society Seminar: Mitochondria Crosstalk Between Protein Homeost...
Speaker: Professor Kostas Tokatlidis, University of Glasgow.
Professor Kostas Tokatlidis holds the Cathcart Chair in the Institute of Molecular Cell and Systems Biology in the University of Glasgow. His interests focus around mitochondria biogenesis in health and disease. More specifically, Prof Tokatlidis' lab has been studying mechanisms of protein targeting, folding and assembly involved in cell physiology, architecture and function. Prof Tokatlidis has published paper in high impact factors journals such as PNAS, Nature, Science and Cell. In 2013, he has been elected as a member of the European Molecular Biology Organisation (EMBO).
