After the two interesting seminars held last year in a cycle called “Medice cura te ipsum”, Humanitas University has decided to offer a training course in interaction with clinical realities, which aims to stimulate reflection on the ethical issues related to the life and health sciences.

"Identity, human dignity, and rights".

This course directed by Prof. Maria Luisa Di Pietro - Associate Professor of Forensic Medicine, Department of Medicine and Surgery, and Director of the Center for Global Health Research and Studies, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore - Rome, and Prof. Alfredo Mantovano- Magistrate, Advisor to the Appellate Court of Rome, President of the Centro Rosario Livatino - Rome.

This course is offered to Medicine and Surgery students as well as Nursing and Physiotherapy students.

The aim of the course is to create a systematic bioethical pathway whose starting point is the knowledge that the technical-scientific skills must always be integrated with a profound sensitivity regarding the problems of the suffering human being and the sense of ethical-social responsibility.
