The BioFAIR Ambassador programme is a new initiative to bring together individuals passionate about data stewardship, FAIR principles, and improving research culture across the life sciences. Ambassadors will support outreach, training, and the development of a BioFAIR People Commons across the UK.

Anyone interested in applying to become a BioFAIR Ambassador, including data stewards, research support professionals, technical specialists, and researchers involved in data management or FAIR practices.

We’ll introduce the aims of the Ambassador programme, outline the benefits of joining, explain the application process, and answer any questions you may have.

No preparation is needed, but we recommend reviewing the BioFAIR aims and structure in advance. You’re welcome to bring questions for the Q&A.

Yes. Once you register, you'll receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite containing the joining link and event details. A reminder will also be sent closer to the event.
