Please join us for this beautiful collaboration concert between two ensembles diffrent and similar to each other at the same time due to their love for music!

Dr. Shawna Stewart is Director of Choral Studies at Biola University in La Mirada, CA. She conducts the Biola University Chorale and the Vocal Jazz ensemble. As associate professor, she also teaches the conducting classes, Choral Methods and Choral Literature.

The Biola University Chorale

The Biola University Chorale is comprised of 36 voices from various disciplines on campus, with nearly eighty percent being voice majors.

The Chorale has enjoyed performances on the Tonight show with Jay Leno, at Disney’s D23 convention along broadway’s Lion King Mufasa, Alton White, in Carnegie Hall, and with the Pacific Symphony Orchestra under the renowned conductor Carl St. Clair.

‘The celtic Concert group’ from Killarney School of Music. The group is formed mainly by teenagers who are trad pupils at the school. They meet every Sunday morning for 2 hours preparing and practicing performance material under my direction. The set lists are generally made up of Irish and celtic music song and dance to carefully set arrangements for mainly tourist/visitor audiences.
