Description

An exciting opportunity for the new year. A two day training event with Trevor Prior and Nick Knight to include the following,

½ day clinical examination

1/2 day rehab for podiatrists

½ day bio assessment / basic gait analysis

½ day assessment and management planning

Advance reading will be sent out.

Trevor Prior has been practising as a podiatrist for over 30 years. Since qualifying, he has worked in northeast London/Essex. He has lectured extensively and been involved in many initiatives both locally and nationally.

Trevor has worked extensively with elite and professional sports men and women in a wide range of disciplines, including football, rugby, cricket, athletics, hockey, badminton.

He is currently employed as a consultant podiatric surgeon at Homerton University Hospital.

Trevor is a director of P2L, a company specialising in bespoke performance footwear and Run3D, a company providing advanced 3D gait analysis. He is the UK representative on the Vasyli Think Tank, involved in the development of orthoses and footwear.


Areas of specialty:

Foot surgery, sports injuries, biomechanics and gait analysis, orthoses, diabetic foot complications

Trevor has trained extensively in the UK, Europe and US. He has lectured locally, nationally and internationally and regularly contributes to newspaper and television items. Trevor is a reviewer for Clinical Biomechanics, Gait & Posture, The Foot, The Journal of Foot and Ankle Research and Physical Therapy in Sport.


Nick Knight joined Premier Podiatry in 2014 Nick specialises in assessing and treating biomechanical, musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Nick has experience treating everyone from the recreational runner up to Olympian level athletes.

Nick currently looks after the elite men at the London Marathon and was part of the Podiatric Medical team for the London 2012 Paralympic games. Nick also provided Podiatric care at the ITU World Triathlon event in London which was a Podiatry first! He is completing his MSc in Clinical Lower Limb Biomechanics

Areas of specialty:

Sports Injuries, biomechanics, gait analysis and orthoses

Nick has a keen interest in research and is hoping to evaluate the effect of foot orthoses on foot function. He has a particular interest in exercise induced leg pain about which he spoke at the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists 2014 annual conference.
