N.B Change of date
In order to ensure that participants are able to optimally experience the Francis Crick Institute’s new building and meet relevant staff, the Biomedical Careers (and beyond) sector lecture is being postponed until November 23rd 2016. We apologise for the change of date, which is due to a delay in the commissioning of the building’s services, and we hope to see you there in November.
Presentation led by Clare Davy, Education Manager, The Francis Crick Institute
Join us at the Francis Crick Institute to hear about where STEM qualifications can lead. From technical apprenticeships to post-graduate research positions, the Crick employs people with a variety of skills and abilities. Beginning in our ‘Discovery Zone’ at Regent High School, we will explore how science, computing and maths come together at the Crick to investigate health and disease, and how training in these disciplines can lead to a diverse range of careers. A short walk to the Crick will allow you to experience a modern biomedical research institute and meet some of our staff.
N.B A limited number of free tickets are available to staff working in Camden state schools and colleges. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
