The Galloway & Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere's Proud Supporter scheme unites businesses, organisations, social enterprises, schools, and community, volunteer and youth groups on a shared journey towards sustainability. The initiative is entirely free to join, open to all, and brings with it networking and knowledge-exchange opportunities such as this event in Girvan. If you are not yet a Biosphere Proud Supporter and would like to attend, please sign up on our website: Get Involved - Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere
We'll begin the day at Biosphere Bikes for an icebreaker activity involving bikes, karts, and e-trikes. A great opportunity to meet like-minded businesses in a unique and exciting setting. Discover more about our hosts: Biosphere Bikes
Moving to the Community Garden for a catered lunch followed by presentations from speakers and more networking opportunities. Discover more about our hosts: Girvan Community Garden
Come along to:
- Hear from speakers (with Q&A and discussion)
- Speak to the Biosphere's Business and Community officers and find out more about available support
- Receive new Biosphere updates (including upcoming workshops, training opportunities, and more)
- Exchange promotional materials and business cards with fellow attendees, and pick up free leaflets and guides about the UNESCO Biosphere (great for local businesses, attractions and community hubs)
- Make new connections and strengthen existing ones!
