Raymond Duncan of the British Trust for Ornithology and secretary of the Grampian Ringing Group will introduce bird ringing and how the data collected provides valuable information on bird migration, behaviour, survival, longevity and the importance to birds of various habitats and sites (including your garden!). Some results from local projects and species will be featured and details provided on how to report your sightings of ringed birds.
