Join Durham Ringing Group as they do some bird ringing in Harperley Woods.
Bird ringing is the practice of catching birds, marking them with an identifying band around the leg, and then releasing them.
It is a great opportunity to see the birds which visit your garden up close.
This session will be delivered by Richard Barnes from the Durham Ringing Group.
Please come along dressed for the weather with suitable footwear or a walk in the woods.
Please park considerately on either Meadowfield Way or Bradbury Close and make your way twards the woods.
This is a free event which is part of a programme of community events that have been funded by Stanley AAP Small Grants Fund.
Please do not book a space for this free event if you are unable to attend. If you find that you can no longer attend nearer the event please let us know so that we can allocate your space to someone else.
