Bird Walk along the River
Date and time
A natural history stroll along the river and canal
About this event
Join local bird enthusiast, Lucy Starling, for this walk along the river and canal. We’ll be listening and looking for birds and other wildlife, such as early butterflies.
This walk is flat, though might be muddy in places. It’s suitable for families. To get the most out of the walk, the group will be small and will need to keep noise low.
It covers 4.5 miles over four hours, but the finish time depends on what we see along the way. If you’ve got binoculars, bring them along.
If the weather is completely unsuitable (eg storms/high winds) we will need to postpone it.
Booking essential.
Lucy Starling is a member of RSPB, and a member of RSPB Bath and District Members’ Group and Bath Natural History Society. You can see the walk or try it for yourself here.
